Tumeric Smoothie2Guys, turmeric, why haven’t I been using this more?! This spice gives a really good flavor to smoothies and has incredible health benefits. Turmeric contains anti-inflammatory compounds, it increases the antioxidant capacity of the body, improves brain function while lowering the risk for brain diseases and lowers the risk to so many other health issues, such as, cancer and diseases. Turmeric Health Benefits

Turmeric is in the ginger family and is commonly paired together to help with absorbing the turmeric. It isn’t easily absorb well into the body and ginger can help with that. Also, pairing it with pepper (the spice) can help with absorbing turmeric. It also contains fat soluble so it is recommended to pair it with a fat. I would recommend reading up on the benefits of turmeric and start including it into your daily lifestyle! Power to the natural healing medicine!!
