So much has happened in such a short amount of time. We FINALLY moved into our very first home – we are officially home owners!! It was a long weekend moving and getting settled but man does it feel good! I am proud to pull up my driveway everyday, I am excited to paint and decorate and I am happy to have our very own space to do what we please. The weekend went much smoother than anticipated (shout out to the parentals for that!) and I have already unpacked every single box and I all my gadgets fit in the kitchen. Boom. The hubby has been working his little butt off outside pulling weeds, edging, fixing our lawn mower, moving the fire pit and a bunch of other manly things that I am so thankful I have him for.
So get this, our backyard is a pretty decent size but it has two crazy old clotheslines cemented three feet into the ground. TWO of them! Why two? And believe me, they are eye sores. Sunday afternoon was spent getting those babies out. We managed to get one of them out which already makes our yard look so much better and I can’t wait to get the other one out!
Anyone want a garden water fountain? The previous homeowners left it and we would much rather put a fire pit in its place. Birds come and take baths in it so if you are an avid bird watcher this would be a great investment.
Anyone selling or know of anyone selling a decent washer and dryer? The previous owners took those with them but hey, thanks for leaving us a sweet ass water fountain! Maybe I should just wash our clothes in that?
This is my very first recipe for you guys in my brand new kitchen and it doesn’t disappoint. Sweet treats can still be had while living a healthy lifestyle. All you have to do is alter the ingredients and enjoy it in moderation. This banana bread gets me real excited for fall and the fun I will have in my NEW kitchen recipe testing!
