As you age, getting in enough protein is very important! Protein also supports our immune system, boost metabolism, balances hormones and keeps us fuller longer. Protein should be eaten throughout your entire day. Our bodies like and need a constant supply of protein so it’s best to spread it out throughout your meals during the day. However, having more protein earlier in the day will help control appetite throughout the rest of the day. So get in that protein packed breakfast!

- 1 cup cashew butter
- ½ cup gluten free rolled oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsb raw honey
- 1 scoop vanilla collagen powder
- zest of 1 lemon
- ⅓ cup dried blueberries
- With the dough blade inserted, add all ingredients except for the dried blueberries to a food processor and blend until everything is well combined. You may have to stop once to scrape down the sides.
- Remove the blade and fold in the dried blueberries.
- Using a cookie scoop, form the dough into balls. Keep refrigerated.
- Enjoy!
