I haven’t actually ever had eggnog before. When I was young the name just creeped me out and sounded gross. Then I became dairy intolerant and never gave any dairy free eggnog a chance, until now. And I must say, it is pretty dang delicious! This would be a fun holiday drink to serve for all ages. Add some rum or vodka and you have yourself a sweet delicious cocktail or keep it nonalcoholic for the whole family.
Christmas is only a few short days away which means lots of family gatherings just around the corner with lots of food, desserts and drinks. The holidays are a time of year to enjoy that food, dessert and drinks. So, enjoy your favorite holiday treat, drink or whatever has you. But, don’t go overboard. Don’t eat until you need to unbutton your pants, don’t drink yourself into a comma and don’t make yourself regret any decisions. Here are a couple little tips to help you enjoy this holiday season with no guilt while still enjoying your favorite foods and drinks!
- eat slowly
- eat until 80 percent full
