Apple and Sweet Potato Hash

SP Hash

Is it September 5th yet!? My mom and I went to Bayfield this weekend to knock out some wedding planning and oh man I am excited! It is going to be so amazing to get married and celebrate in such a beautiful area! The church is really close to Lake Superior and we found the perfect place to take pictures. The reception venue is up on a hill that over looks the lake and we have the coolest rentals to stay in. We are staying on a little resort with a bunch of different houses/cabins. Here is the Lighthouse that we will be staying at. It is so cool inside! It has six bedrooms and they are all their own little hotel room. There is a huge common kitchen, living room and dining room.

I had a chiropractic appointment this morning and I decided to share my experience and thoughts about chiropractic care. I have seen a chiropractor ever since I was little and was diagnosed with scoliosis. My chiropractor was able to cure my crooked spine and I would continue to go in for checkups. As I got older and more involved with sports and more aware of my health I would turn to chiropractic care before I would go to the hospital. I sprained my ankles a bunch in basketball and I would get my ankles adjusted and by the end of the day I was able to give a 100 percent at practice. In high school I developed sports induced asthma and of course was given an inhaler. I saw my chiropractor and he was immediately able to find the source of the problem and from that day forward, I no longer needed my inhaler. In fact, whenever I would feel short of breath (which wasn’t often because I’d have regular adjustments) I would get adjusted and be good to go. I wouldn’t have to carry around an inhaler and pump myself full of chemicals. Then, my family and I began seeing our chiropractor when we were sick or just felt off. One time I had a horrible cold, as I was getting adjusted my nose just started running like no other, snot all over! It was amazing how quickly I received relief from one adjustment.

Commonly people turn to pain killers to relieve their pain but little do they know they are just masking the real issue. A chiropractor’s approach is to identify and remove the source of the pain, not cover the pain. The nervous system regulates and controls every single cell in the human body. With the appropriate chiropractic care so many of people’s “conditions” can be cured instead of covered up with drugs. I encourage everyone to do some additional research about chiropractic care. Just like eating correctly and healing your body with healthy foods, regular adjustments are a healthy and natural way to keep care of your body.

This hash is so easy and makes quite a bit. It is the perfect recipe to pre-make for the week and have breakfast ready for you already each day.
