Turmeric is in the ginger family and is commonly paired together to help with absorbing the turmeric. It isn’t easily absorb well into the body and ginger can help with that. Also, pairing it with pepper (the spice) can help with absorbing turmeric. It also contains fat soluble so it is recommended to pair it with a fat. - 1 cup water
- 1 cup kale
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp honey (add more if you like it sweeter)
- Toss all the ingredients into your blend and blend until smooth
