Protein Coffee Creamer and Iced Almond Milk Coffee

January 19, 2016 by BrookeWeiss

Coffee Ice Cubes

Coffee, my cheese to my macaroni. Without coffee, life simply wouldn’t exist. Who’s with me?! Because coffee is so essential in all of our lives, I have TWO recipes for you guys this week! First, lets talk about nutritional density of the calorie. Heavy stuff, I know.

You have to watch this video, it is an absolute must. It is all about the nutritional density of calories and how it has plummeted. Here is an example, in order to get the same nutritional value from a bowl of spinach in 1952 you would have to eat 42 bowls of spinach today. 42 BOWLS! Like, what?! Our soil is so broken down and over used that the produce doesn’t absorb the same nutrition. The minerals that people are suppose to get daily from their food to perform at an optimal level is basically nonexistent in today’s soil. There was a study that showed that 99.9 percent of Americans do not get the adequate amount of minerals on a daily basis that their body needs to fight off illnesses and diseases.

The line that has stuck in my brain is, “Food will never be enough again, period.” Whoa, scary. I have taken measures and will continue to take these measures to rid my body of toxins and get as many minerals as I possibly can in a day. Think about it, if we don’t have our health and wellness, what do we really have? Do yourself a favor and invest in your own health. The better you feel, the better you will perform on a daily basis and the better you can help others.

Coffee time! These two recipes are so incredibly easy and delicious that you will add it to your weekly food prep.
