I’m going to be blunt here, leading a healthy life is.not.hard. It will only be as difficult as you make it. There are people out there that make excuse after excuse why they can’t workout or why they can’t eat healthier. They claim they are so busy and just don’t have the time. You know what I call that? Laziness. You might be thinking, “Yea, easier for her to say because she is already fit.” That’s bull. I have had to work hard to get to where I am today. I am not saying every day is easy for me, but with the right priorities, a positive mindset and a little bit of determination you can reach any goal you set for yourself.
I am sick and tired and extremely annoyed by the people that make living a healthy lifestyle seem extremely difficult. Stop complaining that you don’t look like so and so, stop making excuses for not eating nutrient dense meals and not getting to the gym, stop acting like you are working so hard when you know you aren’t and start getting real with yourself.
Are you giving your all everyday to be the best version of yourself? If not, take some time and reflect on this and figure out what you need to start doing to make this happen. Maybe it is cutting out a soda a day or that brownie you had to have, maybe it is dedicating 20 minutes a day to go for a walk or getting to the gym at least a couple times a week. Whatever it is, write it down and commit to it. I don’t want to hear your sob stories, I want to hear your success stories!
These muffins would be a great addition to any breakfast or brunch. They are moist and dense and will curb any sweet tooth craving! They would also be great for a quick pre-workout snack!
