Happy Friday! It is almost the New Year and you should be amping up to take on the New Year with a new attitude, new (or continuous) goals and a clear vision of what you want to accomplish. It is something like 91 percent of New Year’s resolutions fail. That’s nuts but not surprising if you really think about. Everyone sets their New Year’s resolutions, amps themselves up about it but then slowly loses motivation and momentum when it either gets too hard or they aren’t seeing the results they want to see. In order to reach your New Year’s resolution or goals, you have to fully commit and want change! If you aren’t mentally ready to change, change will not occur because you won’t be able to get out of your comfort zone. When you are uncomfortable is when change happens. So, when you are thinking about your New Year’s resolution (or if you are like me and just set goals for yourself throughout the entire year) really think about them. Envision how you will feel or what you will look like once you reach your goal. Think about what it will take and what you will have to do in order to make that goal a reality. Then, fully commit yourself to that goal, proclaim it to others and hit the ground running. You got this!
