In order to make a change in your life you first need to make a choice. A choice to change. What do you want to change in your life, if anything? Before that change can happen you must fully commit and be ready, willing and able to make that change. You must commit because it won’t be an easy process. There will have to be trade-offs and sacrifices but if you know you are fully committed then you will know that those trade-offs and sacrifices will be worth it.
If you are thinking about making a change in your life make sure to have a clear and specific goal first. If that goal is not clear or specific, it will be easy to derail from the plan because your outcome isn’t well known. Then, you must be ready to make that change. How ready are you to make this change? Still on the fence or are you ready to jump in with both feet? So, you decide you are ready, but how willing are you to make the change? Are you willing to sacrifice a night out with friends to make a healthy home cooked meal at home instead? Are you willing to eat slower, eat whole foods or exercise on a daily basis? Yep, you decide you are willing to do what you need to do to reach your goal because you are more motivated than ever and are clear on the expectations. That’s awesome, let’s do it. Before hitting the ground running, are you physically able to do the tasks you must to reach your goal? If not, that is okay because we can figure out a new route to still get you there. If yes, let’s decided our next plan of action and get started!
It is common for people to start making a change for the better before they fully prep their mindset. They don’t ask themselves the tough questions so they only stay committed for a little while and get derailed once it gets tough or once their results start to stall. Don’t let this be you! Ask for help if you need it or reach out to a professional who can help you develop these behaviors to result in lifelong happiness and results. Comment below or email me at kissbybrooke@gmail.com if you are ready to make a change. It’s just one choice, to make a change or not?
