Happy Friday! Earlier this week I traveled back to my home town to host a Fitness Happy Hour where I led a group of people in this workout. When I throw it out there about coming to town to host a free workout, I never know if anyone will show up. And to my surprise, I always get such an awesome group of people who show up ready to work! People of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels show up and all get in a killer workout. A big reason I love these body weight circuits is because they can be scaled to fit anyone’s fitness level. There are always modifications that can be made or difficulties added. This is a great workout when you are limited on equipment and time. If you need to shorten up the workout, take out a round or add a round if you really want to challenge yourself.
3 Round HIIT Circuit
3 rounds – 45 seconds on 15 seconds rest
– sprints
– push-ups
– wall sits
– burpees
– plank jacks
– alternating lunges
– side shuffles
– fire hydrants
– inch worms
– cross body mountain climbers
2 minute rest
