Happy Friday! I was reminiscing this morning about my first ever Spartan Race and how it was my best performing race and the most fun I have ever had racing. Since I won’t be competing in any races this year due to baby girl’s arrival the end of summer, doesn’t mean I can’t train like a Spartan! So today I am bringing you a Spartan Inspired HIIT workout that I will be getting in later today. I already miss my Spartan training and am a bit bummed that I won’t be doing any races this year. I am already thinking ahead to next year and getting back in shape to kick ass on the courses in the sprint and stadium races. I have set small goals for myself throughout my pregnancy and having a healthy postpartum is one of them. I am focusing on specific exercises and techniques right now to aid in the healing process post baby and get back to my prepregnancy fitness level because I WILL be competing in Spartan races next year!
