TGIF! Many of you may be kicking off July 4th celebrations this weekend, but hopefully not before getting in a Friday sweat session! It’s going to be a balmy one here in Wisco today and over the weekend so quick intense workouts will be what I will be doing. Since we plan to spend a chunk of the weekend at our family cabin, no equipment body weight workouts is on the agenda!
Working out on holidays or vacations is a choice completely up to you. I enjoy getting in some sort of workout while traveling because it makes me feel my best and sets me up to have a day of healthy choices while not feeling any remorse for any indulgences. I like to keep travel workouts short, effective and intense because ain’t nobody got time to spend over an hour in a gym or working out while on vacation. If you are heading out of town this weekend, going on a vacation, or just need a quick and effective workout with no equipment give this workout a try!
Body Weight 20 Minute Sweat Session
Warm-up: 10 minute walk
20 Minutes AMRAP
– 20 jumping squats
– 20 burpees
– 20 tricecp dips
– 20 jumping lunges
– 20 push-ups
Cool down: 10 minute walk
