Happy Friday friends! The sun and fresh air sure does wonders for my mood and motivation. Fun fact, did you know vitamin D is the only vitamin that can be made from a non food source, aka, the sun? Vitamin D in foods like dairy really don’t account for much and is poorly absorbed into your body. It is best to get your fill of vitamin D from the sun and supplementation. If you aren’t in the sun much, even in the hot summer days, it is a good idea to add a vitamin D supplement to your vitamin regime (especially if you are pregnant or breast feeding).
I am so excited for it to be nice enough outside to get my workout on outside or in our garage. We have a bunch of different kettlebell weights and I love grabbing a few and getting a workout done in our yard. I’m able to break a sweat, move my body in a fun way and soak in all the vitamin D. Outdoors, garage or gym grab some kettlebells and get in this fun interval training workout!
