Happy first day of fall y’all! It doesn’t feel like fall one bit here in Wisconsin. We have a high of 92 degrees today. YUCK! I am ready for crisp temps, flannels, boots, scarves and bonfires. Last year at this time my hubby and I were hopping on a plane to Philadelphia to compete in the Citizens Bank Park Stadium Spartan Sprint race. Read my race recap here. A big part of me wishes we were doing that again this year. I really loved doing the stadium sprint and wish I would have done more of them this last race season. I think I am going to make a point to do more of them next year!
The other day I had a very limited time to get in a workout so I decided to do HIIT. HIIT, or high intensity interval training is an amazing way to get your heart rate up, break a sweat and get in a killer workout in a short amount of time. The amount of oxygen it takes for your body to recover after your workout is where all the benefits and fat burning comes into play. If you are ever in a pinch to sweat, turn to HIIT!
