If you know me, you know I love me some champagne. This is the perfect drink to have in hand while making brunch over the holiday weekend. Yes, I will be enjoying a few cocktails this weekend and no, I will not feel guilty about it. The importance of living a healthy lifestyle is learning how to live a balanced life. I am not giving myself clearance this weekend to completely go wild and eat and drink everything in sight. For one, I just don’t want to. I know my body, I understand what makes it feel good and what makes it feel bad. I don’t want to spend the weekend feeling bloated and sick so I will loosely track my macros and make mindful decisions. This isn’t restriction, this is knowing my body and how to properly fuel it even on a holiday weekend. If you are new to macros or have any idea what I am talking about, read this post. If you want help getting started with macros, email me at kissbybrooke@gmail.com or shoot me a message on facebook.
